Kathryn Carolyn (Farmer) Findley

Kathryn Carolyn (Farmer) Findley - 85, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed peacefully in her home Tuesday, January 25, 2022. She was born in Jackson County, North Carolina, on October 11, 1936, to the late Jerome Simon Farmer and Mauda Lee (Craver) Farmer. Kathryn graduated from Webster High School. She worked at Lexington Furniture Industries. Kathryn was a member of the Church of God in Salisbury, North Carolina. In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by two husbands, Charles Henry Whitt on February 25, 1987, and Donnie Ray Findley on January 11, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Anita Jane (Whitt) Rivers, 3 brothers, Joseph Rosco Farmer, Lonzo Nelson Farmer, and Thomas Virco Farmer, 2 sisters, Lucy Mae (Farmer) Harris and Edith Inez (Farmer) Harris. Left to cherish her memory are her granddaughter Rebecca Ann (Rivers) Poole of Lexington, North Carolina; great-grandson Camden Allen Jenkins of Lexington, North Carolina; sister Mary Louize (Farmer) Kirkland Owens of Sylva, North Carolina.
