Kathleen Ann Sroka (Slusarczik)

Kathleen Ann Sroka (née Slusarczik) was born on September 23, 1953, in Cook County, Illinois, and passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024, in Davidson County, North Carolina, at the age of 71.

Kathleen was a devoted and loving mother, daughter, and sister. She dedicated many years of her professional life to her work as a Lead Housekeeper at Disney World, where she took great pride in her role and contributed significantly to creating a welcoming environment for countless visitors. Her commitment to her work was only surpassed by her love for her family, which was truly the centerpiece of her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Edward Slusarczik, her cherished mother, Katherine Slusarczik, and her dear husband. Kathleen leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, survived by her son Michael Sroka and his spouse Debbie, and her daughters Roberta Ildefonso and  Holly Sroka, she had six grandchildren, who will continue to honor her memory.

Family and friends will gather for an interment at a later date, where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Kathleen's name to Lexington Health Care Center, the place where she spent her final days surrounded by care and compassion.

Kathleen will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved so dearly.
