Kathie Mae Parker, 71, of Mooresville, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.
Kathie was born in Alleghany Co. VA on March 7, 1950 and was the daughter of the late Lewis Roy and Bessie Austin Parker, both of which preceded her in death.
Kathie was a graduate of Alleghany County High School and prior to her retirement, she worked as a medical receptionist with Iredell Memorial Hospital for 15 plus years.

She deeply loved her children and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Everly Rose Pope along with three brothers and one sister.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Michelle Lail of State Road and Natalie Woolledge (Justin) of Mooresville along with five grandchildren, Eric Pope (Caroline), Kayla & Laura Heafner, and Meredith and Noble Woolledge.
