Mrs. Judy Jean Taylor Bowers, 73, of Statesville, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Brookdale Memory Center in Statesville, N.C. Born in Niles Michigan on December 5, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Robert L. Taylor and Evelyn Mangold Taylor.
She was retired from Zimmer Patient Care and enjoyed crocheting, reading and loved all of her dogs she had through the years, particularly her last dog, Carrie who preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, James Campbell Bowers, two sons, Scott Bowers (Debra) and Jason Bowers (Jennifer Sharpe) all of Statesville and a brother, Alan Taylor (Roxane) of Nashville, Tennessee.
Services celebrating Judy’s life will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 9, 2018 at Nicholson Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Dennis officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service. She will be laid to rest in the Oakridge Cemetery in Buchanan, Michigan.
