Judy Moody

Judy Lee Compton Moody, 69, of Statesville, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Brian Center in Statesville. Ms. Moody was born March 31, 1943 in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Richard Ralph and Minnie Daniels Compton. She was a graduate of Iredell County schools and she was employed with Sells Moving and Storage where she worked as a secretary. Ms. Moody is survived by one sister, Peggy Lamberth (George) of Statesville and two nephews, Wesley B. Lamberth of Statesville and Johnny R. Lamberth of Charlotte. She is further survived by great nieces and nephew, Brenna, Kendra, Joshua Lamberth. A graveside funeral service will be conducted 2:30 pm Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. J.C. Parks officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday evening from 6:30 until 8:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home.
