Joseph Paul Borek, 84 of Statesville died Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Gordon Hospice House.
He was born in Providence County, Rhode Island to the late Paul Borek and Ora Labelle Borek. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Prata.
Joseph served his country in the US Army. He loved fishing, especially in freshwater. He also enjoyed NASCAR and traveling.
Those left to cherish his memory include a son, Steve Borek, granddaughter, Jennifer Sanchez (Max), two greatgrandchildren, Ryan and Hailey, two brothers, Robert Borek (Carole), Paul Borek (Carmen), and five sisters, Carol Duggan, Beverly Thompson (Joe), Debbie Ogni (Ray), Cheryl Borek, and Joanne Sherman (Joe).
There are no formal services scheduled.
