Johnny Wayne Lewis

Johnny Wayne Lewis, age 60, of Thomasville, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. Born on July 19, 1962, in Davidson County, NC, he was the son of Evelyn Pauline Billings Hawkins and the late James Cecil Lewis.
Johnny enjoyed watching wrestling and going to church. He attended Trindale Community Church in High Point. Johnny loved "Jesus and pizza."
In addition to his father, James Cecil Lewis, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Linda Lewis. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Evelyn Pauline Billings Hawkins; sister, Betty Black (Jeffrey); brother, Bobby Wayne Lewis (Dessie); niece, Bobbie Ann Lewis; nephews, Billy Oxendine and Frankie Oxendine; great nieces and great nephews, Chelsey Oxendine, Dakota Morrow, Austin Oxendine, and Alexis Swaney; and two great-great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Nicholson Funerals & Cremations, Thomasville Chapel.
