Johnathan Severt

Johnathan O'Brien Severt "John Boy", 35, of Lexington, North Carolina, went on his eternal fishing trip on October 17, 2024. John loved fishing, but he also enjoyed street racing, and most of all, spending time with his children and family.

John is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Stacey Severt; his parents; his chosen dad, William 'Cletus' Lenier; his children, Aaron Hamilton, Alyssa Hamilton, Amberlynn Hamilton, Alana Hamilton, Jayden Severt, and Ashton King; a brother and sister; a niece, Alyssa Lester; two nephews, Darren Severt and Dylan Severt; five aunts, Stella Laws, Nancy Edwards, Betty Ball and her husband David, Cathy Robins, and Glenna Shirley and her husband Tracy; an uncle, Carter Robins and his wife Tina; and many cousins.

He is preceded by his grandparents; Glen and Hazel Robins and Larry, Sr. and Shirley Severt; two uncles, Billy Robins and Brian "Jessie" Severt, and step-brother, Jamie Johnson.

A Celebration of Life will at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Faith Baptist Church, 4518 Shiptown Road, Denton, NC 27239.
