Joel Edward Dunlap, Sr.

Joel Edward Dunlap, Sr., age 58, of Archdale, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.  Born on March 18, 1965, in Oklahoma, he was the son of the late William Gray Dunlap and Barbara Joe Grice.

Joel enjoyed hiking, fishing, and hanging out with his grandchildren, Madison and Liam.  He loved music, especially Rock and Metal.

In addition to his parents, William Gray Dunlap and Barbara Joe Grice, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frankie Dunlap and Billy Bullard. Left to cherish his memory include his son, Joel Edward Dunlap, Jr daughter, Audrey Cottingham and husband, Eric; grandchildren, Madison Cottingham and Liam Dunlap; brothers, Greg Dunlap and wife, Sandra, and William Dunlap and wife, Tabitha; niece, Jessica Finley and husband, Robert; and nephews, Billy Dunlap and wife, Laura, Dustan Dunlap and wife, Jessica, Ryan Dunlap and wife, Kayla, William Dunlap, III, Shane James and Shaun James.
