JoAnn (Cline) Burrell

JoAnn Cline Burrell, 80, of Statesville passed away on February 23, 2015, at Iredell Memorial Hospital.   She was born on January 24, 1935, in Kannapolis to the late Marvin Morris and Ada Belle Murdock Cline. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Haskell Burrell.  She is survived by three daughters, Sandra B. Blankenship (Doug), Rhonda Burrell, and Zina B. Parlier (Todd); three grandchildren, D. Lynn Blankenship (Maggie), Taylor and Connor Parlier; one great grandchild, Stella Clair Blankenship.  Surviving in addition to her children are three brothers Marvin Eugene (Rixie), Bobby Whicker and James Wayne (Dottie) Cline and three sisters, Bernice (Franklin) Chamberlain, Jayne (Tony) Miller, and Joyce Brackett.  A number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister Jackie Lane Cline. Burial will be a private service at a later date.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that a memorial be made to the foundation of the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.nicholsonfunerals.com .
