Jo Anne Rochelle (Redmond) Pardue

Jo Anne Rochelle Redmond Pardue, 79, of Statesville, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Gordon Hospice House.  She was born on August 15, 1937 in Iredell County to the late Blake and Odena Carson Redmond. Mrs. Pardue was a graduate of Statesville Senior High School and was married to Roger Burl Pardue who passed away on January 19, 1998.  She was co-owner of Ideal Tractor and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.  Mrs. Pardue was an amazing mom, grandmother, and great grandmother who had a loving and gentle spirit.  She loved to bake, read, work crossword puzzle, and working with her flowers.  She will be missed by all that knew her. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Becky P. Williams (Charles) and Laura P. Queen (Scott); one granddaughter, Meghan Williams Taylor; two great grandsons, Skylar and Jasper Taylor, all of Statesville; and two sisters Peggy B. Moose of Scotts, NC and Patricia Jones of Statesville. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Horizon Church with Mike Barnette officiating.  Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will visit with friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 pm.
