Jingee Fern Hancock

Jingee Fern Hancock, 55, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 3, 2017 at her home. Jingee was born October 9, 1961 in Franklin County, VA and was the daughter of Robert Lane Hancock and the late Nancy Via Hancock, who passed away November 28, 2017. She attended North Iredell High School and Mitchell Community College and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. In addition to her father, Jingee is survived by two sisters, Barbee H. Ervin of Statesville, Tracee H. Stikeleather (Tommy) of Statesville; one brother, Jody Hancock (Cara) of Statesville and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Jingee was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Rick Ervin. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Scott Eanes officiating. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 1:00-2:00p.m. at Nicholson Funeral Home.
