Jesse Monroe Griffin

Jesse Monroe Griffin, age 69, of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at his home with his family by his side. Born on February 24, 1954, in Guilford County, he was the son of the late Cletus Monroe Griffin and Florence Wood Griffin.
Jesse was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a truck driver for Trinity Transport and in his early days, he was employed by Parkdale Mills. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson and Indian models.
Jesse loved and cherished his family. He was of Baptist faith and on February 22, 2023, he rededicated his life to Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cletus Monroe and Florence Wood Griffin; and his brother, Donald Cletus Griffin. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving companion of 14 years, Tammy Phillips; his children, Jennifer Griffin Skipper and husband, Jason, David Griffin and wife, Allison, Matthew Griffin and wife, Lisa, Tamera and Trevor; grandchildren, Trevor, Justin, Kayla, Beau, Alaina, Julie, Nick, Jake, Dallas, Izzy, Willow, Azariah, Jadidiah, Alli, Daulton, Kaiden, and Easton.
