Jerry Randall Greene, Sr.

Mr. Jerry Randall Greene, Sr., 72, of Statesville, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at CMC in Concord, N.C. He was born in Pasquotank County on June 28, 1944, he was a son of the late James Chelsie Greene and Gay Ola Hamby Greene. He served in the U. S. Army and operated Jerry’s Ford Shop. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Marvin Greene. Survivors include a son, Jerry (Randy) Greene, Jr., a daughter, Linda “Kathy” Duffy (Jeffrey), a brother, David Parsons (Judy) and a sister, Betty Watson (Steve). Also surviving are grandchildren: Ashley Greene and Jerry Randall Greene, III and a great grandchild, Lucas Greene. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Rash and Dr. J. B. Parker, Jr. officiating. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service and burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
