Jerry Wayne Estes

Jerry Wayne Estes, 54, of Harmony died Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
He was born in Iredell County on September 20, 1967 to Martha Lambert Estes and the late Ivey Estes. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Shepherd Estes and five brothers, Ivey Estes, Donnie Estes, Tommy “Red” Estes, Timmy Estes and Bobby Estes.
Jerry had worked in the furniture industry where he held several positions. He loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed raising and training beagles.
Survivors include his mother, Martha Estes, a stepson, Michael Shepherd (Amanda Leonard), one brother, Larry Estes, three sisters, Lucille Elmore (Bobby), Linda Estes, Vickie Riddle, and three grandchildren, Hailey, Cameron and McKenzie Shepherd.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 6:00 pm at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Anthony Silvers officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.
