Jerry 'Chris' Christopher Bazen

Jerry Christopher Chris Bazen, age 59, of Trinity North Carolina, entered eternal rest on November 5, 2020. Born November 24, 1960 in High Point North Carolina, he was survived by his mother Doris Bazen and preceded in death by his father Loranzie Bazen.Chris was very devoted to his family and was a respected member of his community. He owned and operated Bazen Waterproofing and Construction for 30 years. Chris enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. One of his many favorite pleasures was cooking for his family. He also loved being outdoors, whether it was fishing, grilling, or working.Left to cherish these memories are his children; son, Shawn Bazen, daughters, Ashley Serrano (Joshua), Jessica Bolton (Trevor) and stepson, Matt Jones (Kandace); grandchildren, Kirsten Seth Bazen, Waylon Mia Bolton, Charlotte Serrano and Ella Liam Jones; sister, Teresa Wilson (Jeff), brothers, the late Leonard Bazen (Amy), and Scott Bazen; many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. The family will gather at 1:00pm on November 14, 2020 at Bethel Baptist Church, 4836 Robbins Circle, Asheboro, NC. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00pm, with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
