Jeffrey Lynn Kilpatrick

Jeffrey Lynn Kilpatrick, age 59, of Statesville, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. Born on April 22, 1962, in Iredell County, he was the son of the late Clay Evans Kilpatrick and Dorothy Lee Coley Kilpatrick.
Jeffrey was a graduate of West Mecklenberg High School in Charlotte. He was a Pathology Assistant at Davis Regional Medical Center. Jeffrey and his wife, Helen were members of Northview Church of Christ. He enjoyed watching TV and had a passion and love for watching and spending time with his “grandkids.”
In addition to his parents, Clay and Dorothy Kilpatrick, Jeffrey was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Kilpatrick. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of over 37 years, Helen Marie Self Kilpatrick; daughter, Courtney Kilpatrick (Billy Owings, Jr.); son, Jeffrey Kilpatrick (Sarah Dulney); grandchildren, Bailey Sewell, Isabella Kilpatrick, Christopher Owings, Caden Kilpatrick, Jason Owings, and Austin Owings; sister, Jennifer Kilpatrick; and aunt, Patsy Dyson.
The family will receive friends, Thursday evening, February 3, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, February 4, 2022, in the Chapel of Nicholson Funeral Home with Heather Besoiu, Funeral Celebrant officiating. A graveside service will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
