Janet Hunt Tessner

May 13, 1961 — June 23, 2024

Janet Leigh Hunt Tessner, 63 of High Point passed away on June 23, 2024. Janet was born in Davidson County to Thomas Carlton and the late Betty Lou Sechrist Hunt. Janet was a creative crafter. She loved to sew, and especially enjoyed making Halloween costumes for her family. Janet enjoyed traveling to the beach and was a 'people' person, which led her to work in customer service and then photography. Her faith brought her to this bible verse which was her favorite;

Jeremiah 29: 11-13, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will harken unto you, And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Janet is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lou Sechrist Hunt. Left behind to cherish her memory is her father, Thomas Hunt; daughters, Danielle Blackmore and husband Noah, Amy Tessner; sister, Wanda Hunt Cline; grandchildren, Joshua Erb, Savannah Negip, Sophie Pennington, Bayleigh Blackmore, Anakin Blackmore and nephew, Mitchell Hulin. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Nicholson Funerals & Cremations, Thomasville is honored to serve the Hunt-Tessner family.
