James "Jim" Earle Duncan

November 4, 1928 — January 18, 2021

Mr. James Jim Earle Duncan, 92, of Lexington passed away January 18, 2021 at his daughters home in Lexington, NC. The son of the late Robert and Elvira Duncan, Mr. Duncan was a proud Army veteran serving in the Korea and Vietnam wars. He served as a security guard with Budd Security for over a decade and loved volunteering at the Davidson County Senior Center. He dearly loved his grandchildren and never missed their sporting events. In addition to his parents, Mr. Duncan is preceded in death by his wife Florence ONeill Duncan, stepson Bobby Robinson, and grandson Bobby Dean Robinson. He is survived by his daughter Meg Hairston (Raymond) of Lexington, stepsons Butch Robinson (Dawn) of Lexington and Ray Robinson (Robin) of Linwood, and grandchildren Derek Hairston, Alicia Hairston, James Robinson, Jordan Robinson, Justin Robinson, Drew Robinson, Chad Robinson, and Erin Robinson. Due to the current COVID-19 environment, the family will hold a private Celebration of Life service at Lexington Church of God. Burial with military honors will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington.
