Mr. James Matthew Allen

James Matthew Allen, 42, of Statesville, died Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his home. Born in Bountiful, Utah on January 7, 1979, he was a son of the late James Allen and Deborah Nellist Allen who survives. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Allen. He worked in bridge construction and loved the outdoors, nature, working in his yard and his dogs, Jax, Moose, Stella and Roxie, all four of which he loved dearly.
Survivors include his wife, Tracy Parker Allen, two daughters, Sarah and Keri Montagnino, a brother, Paul Allen and two grandchildren, Gracelyn Evans and Easton Montagnino.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Groff officiating. The family will greet friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Nicholson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the Iredell County Animal Shelter, 430 Bristol Dr., Statesville, N.C. 28677 or to the Rowan County Animal Shelter, 1465 Julian Rd., Salisbury, N.C. 28146.
