Jackie Franklin Edwards, age 77, of Lexington, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at his home. Born on March 26, 1945, in Loris, SC, he was the son of the late Ralph Edwards and Louetta Norris Edwards.
Jackie really enjoyed fishing, especially fishing at the Coast when he could. He loved spending time with his family and listening to people play the guitar. He was a retired Supervisor from Thomasville Furniture (TFI). Jackie longed to see his father whom he lost when he was 2 years old, and his sweet mom, Loretta and his brother, Ralph.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 45 years, Joann Edwards, whom will always be together; daughters, Trisha Hulin of Trinity, Felica Davis (Billy)of Troy, Renee Rogers of Thomasville, and Sallie Hartley (Grady) of Lexington; sons, Wyman Edwards (Bobbi Jo) of Thomasville, Dwayne Edwards of Lexington, Mack Dunlap of Lexington, and Daryl Lee Edwards; sisters, Faye, Carolyn, Linda and Margaret; brothers, Jimmy, Johnny, and Brooks; grandchildren, Ashlin, Jeremiah, Abby, Michael, Riley, DJ, Joseph, Dylan, Kelsey, Chase, Justin, Jacob, Emily, Josh, Megan, Tiffany, Andrea, Dwayne, Breanna, Ashley, Brad, Stephanie, Tiffany, Katie, Jessie, Angela, Marie, and Jack; great-grandchildren, Anna, Levi, Addison, Aiden, Rylan, Ayden, Trey, Taylor and Lilly;
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Louetta Edwards, and brother, Ralph.
A very special thank you to Ruth and Roger Deese, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law who were by his side with his wife Joann, daughter Trisha, Felicia and Mack till the very end.
