Jack Edward Kidd, known as "Eddie," passed away on November 27 2023, leaving behind legacy of love and laughter Born on January 8,1965, in Radford Virginia, he had a remarkable career as a service technician spanning over three decades.
He was an exceptional individual who prioritized his loved ones. held dear the moments spent his family and friends, cherishing every opportunity to be in their company. Whether it was a holiday gathering or a casual get-together, Eddie presence would bring warmth and joy to any room.
Described by those who knew him best as kind-hearted and welcoming, Eddie had a remarkable ability to make others feel at ease. His genuine nature and friendly demeanor endeared him to all who crossed his path. With his quick wit and infectious sense of humor, he could effortlessly lighten the mood and bring smiles to the faces of those around him.
Throughout his career as a diesel service technician, Eddie showcased exemplary dedication and expertise. His unwavering commitment to his craft earned him several prestigious awards and accolades. These honors were a testament to the diligent work ethic that defined Eddie in his professional life.
Born into a loving family, Eddie was the cherished son of the late James Junior Kidd and Violet Geneva Kidd. He is preceded in death by his two brothers Jerry Kidd and Steve Kidd. Left to cherish his memory are Johnny Kidd, Ricky Kidd, (Lois) Charlie Kidd, (Charlene).
Eddie found his soulmate in Samantha Kidd in the year of 1986.They married in 1995 that lasted for 28 years and was filled with unwavering love and support. Together they raised two wonderful sons named Brent Edward Kidd and Brandon Lee Kidd. As a devoted husband and father, Eddie treasured every moment spent with his beloved wife and children.
Beyond his immediate family circle, Eddie had numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. He cherished the opportunity to be a part of their life.
Jack Edward "Eddie" Kidd will be remembered as a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many. His kindness, humor, and dedication to his family and profession have left an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to know him. As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the extraordinary life he led and the memories he leaves behind. May his soul Rest In Peace.
A Service to Celebrate his life will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 23,2023 at Madison Heights Free Will Baptist Church With David Robinson officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Davidson County, Hinkle House, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
