Hunter Lane Grant

Hunter Lane Grant, 2, of Statesville, died Monday, May 11, 2015 in an automobile accident in Charleston, S.C. Born in Iredell County on August 21, 2012, he was a son of Casey Hunter Grant and Ginger Raye Bentley Grant. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Juanita Joan Bentley. He is also survived by his brother, Riley Grant, his paternal grandparents, Mike and Lorraine Grant of Statesville, his paternal great grandmother, Mary Lou Grant of Goose Creek, S.C. and his maternal grandfather, Ricky Lee Bentley of Statesville. Also surviving are uncles and aunts: Robbie Bentley, Michael Scott Grant, Jen Grant, Kyle Grant (Courtney), Sean Grant, Thomas Grant, Matt Grant and a cousin Fallon Grant. Services celebrating Hunter’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel.  A balloon release and visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
