Mr. Harold Andrew Kilpatrick, Sr., 90, of Statesville, went peacefully home to join his beautiful wife, Ruby Marie and be in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mr. Kilpatrick was born September 7, 1926 in Wilkes County to the late Walter Andrew Kilpatrick and Janette Bowers Kilpatrick Sherrill. He attended schools in Wilkes County and Iredell County and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a past member of Cochran Street Baptist Church and was retired from Statesville Chair, as a Supervisor. He is survived by one daughter, Deborah Threatte (Michael), one son, Harold Kilpatrick, Jr. (Amy); 12 grandchildren, Christina Kilpatrick (Frank), Harold Kilpatrick, III (Jessica), Tracy Kilpatrick, Nikole Smith (Colt), Ted Moose (Kathy), Katlyn Kilpatrick, Jonathan Kilpatrick, Elijah Kilpatrick, Silas Kilpatrick, Brandy Threatte, Michael Threatte, Jr. (Samantha), Chase Anderson (Courtney); 12 great grandchildren, one sister, Patsy Dison and one brother, Clay Kilpatrick. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Roy, Ray, Gene and Robert Kilpatrick, three sisters, Pauline Freeze, Pauline Ellis, Ruby Cowan, two grandchildren, Stephen and Gabriel Kilpatrick and one great grandchild, Caleb Kilpatrick. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.B. Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Nicholson Funeral Home.
