Felix Homer Williams

December 6, 1925 — March 26, 2017

Mr. F. Homer Williams, 91, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 26, 2017 unexpectedly. Born December 6, 1925 in Iredell County, he was the son of the late Felix Larkin and Callie Ader Fletcher Williams. He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, great grandfather and “Papa”. Lifelong dedicated dairy farmer and pillar of the New Hope Community. He was a lifetime member of Taylor Springs Baptist Church. He loved to travel the world to learn and discover new ways to improve the agriculture and farming community. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Mark Felix Williams (Vickey), Janet Sue Clanton, Kay Blackwood and Neil Avery Williams; grandchildren, John Michael Clanton (Robin), Amber Osborne (Ryan), Branna Williams, Latelle Williams (Rachel) and Elizabeth Blackwood; great grandchildren, Chloe Addison Clanton, Eleighana Faith Clanton and Russell Avery Williams along with many friends and loved ones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant sons. The family invites the Church community and friends to a celebration and remembrance of his life to be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Taylor Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Williams will lie in state from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Sunday at the church.
