Farrel Reed Rasnick

Farrel Reed Rasnick, 72, of Statesville died Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Gordon Hospice House.
He was born in Virginia on March 29, 1947 to the late Delmar Rasnick and Elizabeth Sutherland Rasnick.
Farrel owned and operated Reeds Quality Painting for 30 years and painted many homes and commercial properties. He loved the outdoors especially spending time at his cabin in Virginia. He also loved traveling and jet skiing. Farrel had also served his country in the US Army.
Survivors include a daughter; Farrah Rasnick Wise and husband Stephen Marc Wise of Cherryville, NC, 2 grandchildren; Ethan Farrell Wise and Jace Kendall Wise, a brother; Dean Rasnick of Virginia, and 3 sisters; Beatrice Oberle, Charlene Rasnick, and Patsy Gibson all of Virginia.
A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery with full military rites. The family will visit with friends Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Nicholson Funeral Home from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
