Everly Rose Pope, infant daughter of Eric Bradley Pope and Caroline Bonnie Marlow Pope of Harmony, passed away in the warmth and love of her home on August 30, 2017. Everly was born on December 3, 2016 in Statesville and is survived by her sister Ella Grace Pope and her brother Caleb Bradley Pope; By her paternal grandfather Jeffrey Craig Pope of Hiddenite, paternal grandmother Michelle Lackey Lail of Statesville, maternal grandparents Johnny Preston and Colleen Taylor Marlow of Statesville; By great-grandparents Robert Dale Lackey of Roanoke, Virginia, Kathie Parker Morris of Mooresville, and Bonnie Clark Taylor of Draper, Utah; By her father's siblings, Tabitha Lashea Pope of Statesville, Kayla Michelle Heafner of Statesville, and Laura Ashley Heafner of State Road, and her mother's siblings, Bethany Marlow Eggett of Statesville, Stacey Marlow Aken of Pleasant Grove, Utah, Kathleen Marlow Allen of Fort Rucker, Alabama, and Emily Marlow Fisher of Universal City, Texas; And also by her stepgrandfather Jonathan David Heafner of Statesville and his mother Joyce Bumgarner Hall of Stony Point. A visitation and service will be held on Sunday, September 3rd, 2017 at Western Avenue Baptist Church of Statesville, 1206 Museum Road. Friends will be received from 2:00PM – 3:30PM in the church foyer. The service will begin at 4:00PM in the sanctuary. Pastor Tim Lowery of Faith Baptist Church of Statesville will be officiating the service. Pastor Charles Burleson, also of Faith Baptist Church, will officiate a private burial.
