Esther Kaye (Gatton) Billings

Esther Kaye Gatton Billings, 54, of Harmony, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Iredell County on November 9, 1960 to the late R.C. Gatton and Nita Josephine Byrd Gatton, who survives. She attended Iredell County Schools and was with her husband and partner, Keith Billings for over 20 years.  She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother who will be missed by all. Along with father, R.C. Gatton, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Tim Gatton; paternal grandparents, Claywood and Esther Gatton; and maternal grandparents, J. W. and Elizabeth Byrd. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Keith; her mother, Nita; two daughters, Brooke Isenhour Deal of Hickory and Mindy Rosado of Harmony; a brother, Kenny Gatton of Olin; and five grandchildren, Destiny, Dylan, Michael, Addyson, and Cody, who resided with her.
