Elizabeth “Jean” Winkler Dreves, 83 of Statesville, died Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
She was born in Defiance County, Ohio on August 3, 1939, to the late Paul Winkler and Helen Flory Winkler. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Philip Dreves.
Jean was a people person and always had a smile on her face. She loved gardening, cooking and had been a member of the Elks Lodge for many years.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Michael Dreves, a brother, Charles Flory and his wife Katie, and a sister, Connie Dewitt.
At Jean’s request, there will be no formal services held.
For those who would like to honor Jean, St. Jude’s was dear to her heart. Memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN38105.
