Edward Earl Williams, Sr

Edward Earl Williams, Sr, 35, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Novant Health in Huntersville.

Edward was born in Iredell County on June 18, 1983 and was the son of Denise Speaks Williams and the late Allen Harvey Williams.  He was a graduate of North Iredell High School and was a member of Grassy Knob Baptist Church.

He was employed with C.K. Grading in which allowed him to “play in the dirt”.  He loved his work and his co-workers.

Edward met Bobbi Gray in the seventh grade at North Iredell Middle School and he married her on June 21, 2015.

Edward loved the outdoors including hunting and fishing with his son, brothers and dad, who passed away on November 23, 2018.  Edward was a person that never met a stranger and once you met him, you became instant family.  His absence will be truly missed by family and friends alike.

In addition to his wife Bobbi and his mother, Denise, he is survived by two sons, Edward Earl Williams, Jr and Everette Parsons along with two daughters, Cheyenne and Alexis Williams.  He is also survived by three brothers, Anthony Williams, Seth Lundy and Robert Weatherby.  He is further survived by a host of aunts, uncles and extended family.

A graveside celebration of life of Edward Williams will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 16, 2019 in the Campbell Family Cemetery which is located on Mitch Road in Union Grove.  The family will visit with friends from 10:00 AM until 12 noon on Saturday at Nicholson Funeral Home.
