Edhrye Denise Dotson Carrick, age 65, of Denton, NC, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Novant Health, Thomasville Medical Center. Born on November 24, 1957, in Rowan County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Cecil and Virginia McDowell Dotson.
During the beginning of her career, Edhrye was a Certified Nurse's Aide and most recently she was a waitress at Jack' s Barbecue Shack in Denton. She loved people and was a person who never met a stranger. She had a huge passion for shopping; her family described her as a "Shopaholic."
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 45 years, Glenn Carrick; daughter, Amanda Carrick; and grandchildren, Ariel Carrick and Ayden Carrick.
At Edhrye's request, no services will be held.
