Dorothy Gant Huffman Warfford

Dorothy Gant (Huffman) Warfford, 86, of Thomasville, North Carolina, passed from this life April 24, 2022. She was born March 29, 1936, in Conover, North Carolina, to the late Edward Oscar Huffman and Ola (Gant) Huffman. In addition to her parents, Edward and Ola Huffman, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Donnie Batten, brothers, Edward Huffman Jr. and Charles Huffman, and sisters, Lucille Grayson, and Sue Everhart. Left to cherish her memory are her son Jeffrey Batten, and grandson Barry Neal Batten. A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 15th at 4:00PM at Rich Fork Church, 3993 Old US Hwy 29, Thomasville, NC 27360, with Pastor Michael Bowers officiating. She was very supportive of the recovery community. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to provide Recovery Bibles to individuals in local recovery treatment centers and transitional housing.
