Donna Vestal Knox

Donna Vestal Knox, 35, of Charlotte, died January 17, 2017. Born in Forsyth County on September 4, 1981, she was a daughter of Richard Vestal and Sheila Moore Vestal both of whom survive and are of Statesville. She held a B.S. in Nursing and was a former news editor for Media General. Survivors in addition to her parents include, her companion, Christopher Nee,  sons, Nicholas T. Thorpe and Alexander C. (Charlie) Thorpe, a daughter, Peyton A. Thorpe, brothers, Lonnie R. Vestal, David S. Vestal and Nathan R. Vestal and a sister, Camilla Lane Kerley. Also surviving is her estranged husband, Corey Knox. Services remembering her life will be held at 6:00 P.M. today (Saturday) at Nicholson Funeral Home.
