Diane Sboto (Toon), born January 31, 1961, in Nassau County, New York, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024, in Davidson County, North Carolina, at the age of 63.

Diane was a dedicated professional who spent many years working as an Office Manager for an international shipping company. Her career was marked by her remarkable organizational skills and her unwavering commitment to her work. Later in life, she also worked at Cracker Barrel, where she brought joy and warmth to those she encountered.

Diane had a zest for life that was evident in her various passions and interests. In her leisure time, she crafted beautiful jewelry, a testament to her creativity and attention to detail. Diane was most content by the beach, where she found peace and inspiration in the ebb and flow of the tides. Above all, she cherished her family and friends, with whom she shared countless adventures traveling to new and exciting places.

Diane is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Heinrich and Ingrid Toon; her sister, Anette Roberts; and her brother-in-law, Milton Roberts. She leaves behind her daughter, Stephanie Sboto, and her cherished nephew, Frederick Haslett, along with his wife Amanda, Grand-nephew Brian Haslett, Grand-Niece Courtney Haslett. Diane is also survived by special friends who will miss her dearly.
