Devon Ray Simmons

Devon Ray Simmons, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 19. Born on September 21, 2005, in High Point, North Carolina, he was a beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend.

Devon pursued his passion for working with machinery and engines, forging a career as a plumber, both in commercial and residential capacities, with Baretech Plumbing Inc. His enthusiasm for dirt bikes, vehicles, and anything with motors was well-known among those who knew him. He had a knack for understanding complex mechanical systems, much like his favorite character, MacGyver.

Beyond his professional and personal interests, Devon was an active member of the Salvation Army community in High Point, where he attended and participated in various activities, leaving his mark on the gym wall. His love for family was paramount, and he cherished the time spent with them deeply.

Devon is survived by his loving mother, Melissa Faircloth (Jeremy), his father, Thomas Simmons, his sisters, Emily Simmons (Skyler Stacy) and Joy Faircloth, as well as his adored nephew, Roman Stacy. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of Devon's life will be held in the near future, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory. The family kindly welcomes flowers at the service as a token of remembrance.

Devon's vibrant spirit, love for adventure, and dedication to those he held dear will forever be remembered. May he rest in peace.
