Dennis Stanley

Dennis Earl Stanley, a beloved partner, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on January 20, 1950, in Dunn, North Carolina, Dennis spent his life enriching the lives of those around him with his humor, generosity, and unwavering love.

Dennis was a dedicated professional in the field of commercial and residential painting, where his hard work and attention to detail were appreciated by all who knew him. Known for his infectious sense of humor, he had a rare gift for brightening any room he entered with laughter and joy.

He held a deep passion for NASCAR and could often be found sharing his enthusiasm for the sport with family and friends. Dennis was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need, and his loving nature touched many lives throughout the years. His family fondly remembers him as a jokester who cherished every moment spent with them.

Preceded in death by his father, Calvin Stanley, and mother, Adner Parnell, Dennis leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. He is survived by his devoted partner of 38 years, Pauline Roark; his son, Steven Stanley, and wife Jen; his daughter, Angie Eaton, and husband Bill; and his brother, Larry Stanley. Dennis was a proud grandfather to Anthony Jones, Cameron Jones, Kyle Stanley, Autumn Stanley, Carlos, Angel, Bianca, and Brenden, and a cherished great-grandfather to Lainey, Alena, Ezekiel, and Lyric.

Dennis's warmth, generosity, and humor will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who take comfort in the legacy of love he has left behind.
