Della Faye Roten

Della Faye Brown Roten, 82 of Statesville died Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Lake Norman Regional Hospital.
She was born in Wilkes County on June 16, 1940, to the late Rufus Brown and Emma Wagner Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Roten and a brother, Freeman.
Faye enjoyed riding in the country and seeing the sights. She loved chicken nuggets. More than anything, she loved her family and spending time with her great-grandkids.
Those left to cherish her memory include a son, David Roten (Sonya), two daughters, Teresa Overcash (Dwayne), Pam Mecimore (Bruce), two brothers, Travis and Rex, four sisters, Louise, Patricia, Gaye and Eula Mae, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Travis Brown and Rev. Blaine Keaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
