Debra “Snooter” Cody Alford, age 61, was a very loving, amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was full of life, nothing ever slowed her down. She was a very giving person with a heart of gold. She loved God, music, dancing, going to church, yard sales, and the beach. She was the strongest women we knew! She was born on February 11, 1961, in Davidson County and passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Atrium Health- Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, High Point.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Dana Alford Davis (Jason), Amber Nicole Buck (Chance), Cody Joe Goins (Nicole), Lakeshia Faith Anderson (Thomas); grandchildren: Jasmine, Stephanie, Damien, Destiny, Wesley, Sierra, Jordan, Olivia, Cody Jr., Nora, Gracie and Penelope; 5 great grandchildren; siblings: Scott Cody (Kathy), Shawn Hepler (Charity); stepfather: Mike Hepler; her Faithful four-legged companion: Ruby Ann; and Life along Friends: Mary Cribb, Lisa Boneschans.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Priscilla Louise Hepler; father, Billy Cody; grandson, Seth Brooks; rainbow baby Anderson; and significant other, Chris Norris.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 4:00 pm at the Prayer, Praise and Worship Center, 707 Stemp Everhart Rd., Thomasville, with Wayne Canham officiating.
