� Deborah Gayle Ashley Moore, 52, of Statesville, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Iredell Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Debbie was born July 22, 1960 in Iredell County and was the daughter of Margaret Ann Gregory Ashley of Statesville and the late Dean Smith Ashley. She was a graduate of West Iredell High School and Central Piedmont Community College. She was married to Jimmy Moore and was a member of Concord United Methodist Church, where she served on the worship committee. She was the owner and operator of Moore Buds and Bows, which she started 22 years ago. Prior to that she started her florist career with Cuttings Florist in Statesville before opening her own business. Her personal touch with her clients and co-workers made for a successful business. In addition to her mother and husband, Debbie is survived by one daughter, Dedra M. Chapman (Daniel) of Statesville, one son, Bradley Moore (Sheena) of Stony Point, one sister, Cindy Ashley of Statesville, two grandsons, Austin and Bryson Chapman of Statesville, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at the Landmark Church of God with Rev. Roger Sailors and Rev. John Parks officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2012 at Nicholson Funeral Home.
