David Pearson

David O'Dell Pearson, 72, of High Point, passed away July 12, 2024. He was born on November 26, 1951, in North Wilkesboro, NC to Everet and Jossie Pearson. David loved his country and proudly served in the United States Army. He was known for his expertise as an auto mechanic, explaining his love for NASCAR, driving, and Dale Earnhart. He was a devoted father, husband and grandfather and enjoyed spending time fishing, listening to music, dancing and going to the beach. David is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Crystal Dawn Pearson; brothers, Dwight Pearson, John Pearson; and sister, Edith Worley. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marcella Pearson, sons, Jason Pearson, James Harold Pearson, Arley Pearson, Alex Linares and Logan Pearson; daughters Allison Linares and Elia Pearson; brothers, Tuffy Pearson (Linda), Hubert Pearson, Dwayne Pearson (Velma), sister Jana Hutchings (Bill); grandchildren, Kaylan Pearson, John Anderson, Mary Anderson, Alexis Pearson, Jordan Pearson, Julia Pearson, Lacee Pearson, Isaac Pearson, Blaine Pearson, and Breane Pearson; great grandchildren Leanna Davis, Chloe Davis, Riley Davis and Conley Pearson; sister in law Kimbel Pearson. A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be announced.
