David Lynn Campbell

Mr. David Lynn Campbell, 59, of Statesville, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his home. Born in Iredell County on February 8, 1959, he was a son of the late Frank Campbell and Wanda Speece Campbell. He was an employee of Engineered Sintered Components in Troutman and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and shooting his guns.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his dad, Jack Ireland, his Grandma, Treva Speece, aunts and uncles: Hazel Speece, Ruby Buchanon, Ralph Speece, Herman Speece and Ginger Speece along with his pet boxers, Bullet and Bell, Blaze and Brutis.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Marshall Campbell, his children: April Campbell Kirby and husband, Jon Kirby, Ashleigh Faith Walton and husband, Chris Walton and their two children, Sydney and Jake, Kayla Collins and husband, Dusty Collins and their two children, Liam and Kaison and his two beautiful boxers, Ruger and Remington. Also surviving is his brother, Frank (Butch) Campbell, Jr. and his family.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 Friday at Nicholson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Nicholson Funeral Home.
