Danny Wayne Gordon

THOMASVILLE-Mr. Danny Wayne Gordon, 74, of Thomasville, NC passed away July 1, 2021 at Hospice of Davidson County in Lexington, NC. Mr. Gordon was born February 3, 1947 in Thomasville, NC to the late Robert Deward and Dora Steed Gordon and was a sales representative for Bestway Trucking. He also loved cutting hair and was a 4th generation barber. Danny loved to write newspaper articles and had numerous publications. In his spare time he also loved golfing, listening to classical music, and watching the History channel. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 54 years Linda Lou Fowler Gordon of the home, daughter's, Natalie Elizabeth Gordon of Kernersville, Billie Jo Hutchins of Kentucky; sister Vickie Marlene Hall (Jerry) of Thomasville, brother Roy Gordon of Denton, four grandchildren Linley Sophia Gordon, Kenna Emory Gordon, Banks Alexander Gordon, and Luxen Bennett Gordon, and a large extended family that dearly loved him. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Thomasville Church of God, 1200 W. Holly Hill Road, Thomasville, NC, in the fellowship hall.
