Connie Lea McPeak Hege

Connie Lea (McPeak) Hege, 75, of Lexington, NC went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2024, after battling cancer.
Connie was born on June 1, 1948, to William Edward McPeak and Bonnie Jenkins
McPeak in Davison County, NC.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband Troy Wayne Hege Sr.  Two of her
children, Tabatha Khan and Shanan Tysinger, a sister, Joyce Ann Jones, and a brother, Joe McPeak. 
She is survived by her a son, Troy Wayne Hege, Jr. (Kelly Lynn), daughters, Mae Marie Hamilton, Katherine Hege, Heather Hege, 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, sister, Billie Jean Mefford (Quincy) and a brother, Monty McPeak.
Connie was an exemplary wife, mother, grandmother, nurse and friend.  She embodied the best qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity that could be seen in her care for everyone in her life including her beloved fur babies (Nina, Lovey and Bear).
A Celebration of Life service will be held at New Hope Christian Center, 10607 North Main St. Archdale NC on January 28, 2024, at 2:00 pm.  Immediately following the service, the family invites everyone to the home of her son for a potluck meal at 4723 Poplar Ridge Rd. Trinity, NC.
