Clarence "Mike" Michael Lawson

Clarence "Mike" Michael Lawson, age 66, of Trinity, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 21, 2023. Born on March 21, 1957, in Richlands, Virginia, he was the son of the late Troy Mathis Lawson and Juanita Charles Lawson.
Mike was best described as an avid hunter and fisherman. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Jeannie Rutkowsky, Curtis Michael Lawson and his wife, Melanie, and Juanita Hale and her husband, Richard; grandson, Samuel Rutkowsky; sister, Susie Shepherd; brothers, Lawrence Lawson and Billy Lawson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, and two brothers.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm, Friday, May 26, 2023, at Southside Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 6:00 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made be made to your favorite charity in memory of Mike. Nicholson Funerals & Cremations, Thomasville Chapel has the honor of serving the family.
