Clarence Edward Johnson

Clarence Edward Johnson, age 80, of Lexington, NC, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, Lexington Main Campus.  Born on March 4, 1943, in Trenton (Wayne County), Michigan, he was the son of the late Clyde Johnson and Freida Johnson.

Clarence was a man of strong faith and loved his Lord.  He had a passion for volunteering for anything that led him to the Lord.  Clarence adored and cherished his wife, Patty; always putting her first.  He loved to go to Stamey's Restaurant, going to yard sales, but most of all, going to church.  Clarence could be described as a walking miracle.

In addition to his parents, Clyde and Freida Johnson, he was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Weaver; and his sisters, Marge Fehlig and Patty Wilson.  Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 25 years, Patty Johnson; "his number #1" daughter, Lori Milam (Scott); grandchildren, Bret Milam and Tyler Milam; sister, Sandy Gomes (Tony); brother, Bill Johnson (Jan); and a special friend of the family, Darlene Hill.

Funeral Services will be held 12:00pm, Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Light House Baptist Church in Lexington.  Burial will follow the services in Lighthouse Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 11:00am at the church.
