Christopher Michael Pearson

Christopher Michael Pearson, 49, of Statesville, died Sunday, June 25, 2023, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Cumberland County, North Carolina on February 22, 1974, to Carlie Thomas Pearson and the late Lynn Christine Alltop Engle. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carlie T. Pearson, II, and Charles T. Pearson, and grandfather, James Moore.
Christopher had worked as an IT professional. He was a people person and loved helping others. He loved the beach, especially The Keys, being on the water, cooking, piddling around, sunrises, sunsets, and just nature in general. Christopher enjoyed life and having fun.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving husband of 11 years, Gabriel Pearson, his father, Carlie T. Pearson (Sharon), two brothers, Brandon Pearson (Katrina), Gerald Pearson, paternal grandmother, Ina Moore, special nephews, Steven and Alex, niece, Aryanna, aunts and uncles, Teresa & Tony Geddie, and Colleen & Michael Cornett, great-aunt, Inez Quinn, and other nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Gathering on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Epic Chophouse in Mooresville from 4:00 to 8:00pm.
