Cheryl Phyllis Hart Sherrill

Cheryl Phyllis Hart Sherrill, 72, of Statesville, died Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Maple Leaf Health Care.
She was born in Anderson, SC to the late Howard Phillip Hart and Frances Finley Hart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gary Allen Barnette and a brother, Phillip Hart.
Cheryl was a graduate of North Habersham High School in Clarksville, GA and had worked in the pharmacy at WalMart, and in HR at Kewaunee for over 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, crafting, reading, traveling to Cherokee and going to the casinos. More than anything else, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include a son; John Gatton, 3 grandchildren; Chasity Davis, Mackenzie Davis and Kirsten Davis, 4 great-grandchildren; Jayden Ellis, KaLeigh Davis, Marley Turner, Jayceon Turner, a sister; Cynthia Jarvis (Matt), and her fur baby, Chase.
