Cecil Randall Simmons

Cecil Randall Simmons, 69 of Thomasville, passed away December 22 at Hospice Home of High Point. He was born in Rutherfordton County on April 10, 1951 to Cecil Lillian Simmons. Randy was one of Jehovahs Witnesses and had a wonderful hope that he would live forever on a paradise earth (Psalm 37:10,11). He did not live to see that hope fulfilled, but he knew that Jesus promise of a resurrection was something he held on to at the end (John 5:28,29). Randy was a diehard Colts fan Tarheel fan. He loved spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Donald Dennis Simmons. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patti Simmons; sons, Christopher Franklin Simmons and his wife Tamra, Richard Augustus Simmons and his wife Somer; grandchildren, Parker Peyton Simmons and Anakin Simmons; sister Sharon Dotson her husband Frank; niece, Kimberly (Bradley); nephew, Kenneth Dotson.
