Carolyn Haithcox

Carolyn Goforth Haithcox, 60, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 8, 2011, at her home. Ms. Haithcox was born January 29, 1950 and was the daughter of the late William Goforth and Nora Goforth Swanson. She was a graduate of Statesville Senior High School and Catawba Valley Community College. She was an LPN at Brian Center of Statesville. Ms. Haithcox is survived by two sons, Scott Houston (Heather) and Adam Haithcox (Candace), both of Taylorsville; a granddaughter, Zoe Leigh Houston of Taylorsville; two brothers, Randy Goforth (Marsha) and Rick Goforth, both of Statesville. Also surviving is her step-father, Bill Swanson of Statesville along with two nephews, Donald Goforth and William Goforth, both of Statesville. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ms. Haithcox will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 12, 2011, in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Lewis officiating.
