Brenda Joyce Ellison

Brenda Joyce Rogers Ellison, 77, of Statesville, died February 4, 2022, at Autumn Care of Statesville. Born in Davie County on May 6, 1944, she was daughter of the late Albert Rogers and Alberta McCullough Rogers. She was a retired beautician & cosmetologist after over 40 years.

She enjoyed flower gardening, clothing and jewelry and music.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie Denise Harris and a granddaughter, Kristine Johnson.
Survivors include a son, James Jr. Harris (Kim), daughters, Teresa Hawks and Angie Richardson (Craig). Also surviving are a brother, Albert Rogers, Jr. (Peggy) and two sisters, Dorothy Baity and Priscilla Boyce (Joji), 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2 :00 on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Chris Thompson officiating.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
